Curt is cutting the pineapple for breakfast along with the coconut in front of the cutting board and the Mango bread to the left.
Sweet, juicy fresh pineapple.
Today is beach day, thought we would see what beach is the best for surfing, or Curt practicing his surfing
Life guard station at Kee Beach
Got a close up of those tree vines behind very and the ferns
Stopped for Sunday brunch at the Hanalei Bay Resort.
Cute signs on the coffee, gift shop
Vera and Curt had french toast, I had Taziki with pita chips
Nice view in the back of Curt
Drove back to the beach at Hanalei, lots of people but starting to get cloudy and rain coming again, this was a house on the road to the beach.
Looking at Puff the Magic Dragon in the middle of the picture(mountain range)
Finally were able to stop and take a picture of this waterfall along the busy Kuhio Highway, not sure if this is Jurassic Waterfall where they filmed Jurassic Park.
Cute shirts at the Red Dirt T shirt shop.
Looking at the sunset and clouds towards Kapa'a
While we were walking this path by the beach someone pointed out the whales breaching. In 5 minutes we saw at least 6 whales coming completely out of the water and many water spouts. Was so fun but the whales were at least 1 mile or more out in the ocean. But we could see their shape as they came out of the water and back in.
4th day we got to watch the whales in the ocean
Walked along the ocean close to Kealia Beach, nice night for a stroll along the beach to whale watch, we were hoping to see some seals on the black rock but guess they are somewhere else tonight.
Moon was surround by a rainbow over the ocean
