 The view is beautiful, we are so lucky to have the forest and mountain to look at.

 Marilyn had to get her feet in the ocean first day in Hawaii.

 The beaches are so clean.

January 4,2014

Finally got our tickets to Hawaii and on the way this morning at 5:30.  Our dock angels got up early and took us to the Mobile Airport.  Long layover in Dallas, but very thankful we didn't have to drive. Has been a long hall trying to get tickets coordinated with resort facility in Hawaii.  Good trip to Los Angeles and long trip to Kauai,  beautiful weather when we got hear at 10:00 Hawaii time, 2:00 am Mobile time. 

January 1, 2014

Quiet day at the Marina, guess everyone recovering from the parties.  We heard and saw the fireworks from our boat at midnight.  Spending today just relaxing.  Had our black eyed peas for good luck for the year.

December 31,2013

Last day of the year with many changes.  Had a great time at the Mardi Gras parade in downtown Mobile, lights were purple, blue, green, yellow instead of red and green on the buildings, got lots of moon pies thrown at us from the floats and lots of Mardi Gras beads.  Fun, thanks to Pete and Darlene taking us with them, the cold didn't bother us,  Darlene and I danced to the music but the guys just stood there and froze.  I even got Curt to dance for a second in the streets with me.  Darlene got Pete to dance in the parking lot.  Way passed Pete's bedtime at 10:30.  Was a fun night.
