March 31, 2014 Monday Barnes Sound

Pulled anchor and on the way at 8:30 after a cup of coffee.  Changed gas tanks at 9:35.  Winds North 12-15 knots.  Can't motor sail today.  Pounding with 3 ft. waves, speed about 4.5 to 5 kts.  ETA to Miami is 15:30.  Long water way across Biscayne Bay.  Arrived at Miami Bridge at 1500. Ran ICW thru bridges to MM 1074 and anchored in Golden Isle Lake.  A cute little spot surrounded by houses.  No public land so stayed on the boat, only ones anchored here for the night.  Nice and quiet protected anchorage once again.
