May 26, 2014 Monday Memorial Day

Billy coming this morning, excited to catch up with him on life's journeys after 10 years since we last saw him and traveled to the Abacos Sailing Races.  His friends that he had just gone to Ocracoke were coming down the ICW and needed a safe harbor due to threatening weather so they came down the water way with their 36 ft hunter which was even a bigger site to an area that does not have sailboats, especially one that draws more water than we do.  Harry and Alicia are well experienced boaters made it thru the shallow entrance and held their breathe until they tied up to Billy's dock in front of us.  Had a great time getting to know them also.  Nice walk on the Atlantic Beach 3 blocks away.
