Back in Columbus, boat is fine, drove thru snow, snow packed roads, freezing rain, rain and a little dry weather, thank you Cleon.  Spent the first night on the boat, a little chilly but felt good to be back on the boat.  Decided to keep the rental car a little longer and do some touring while the weather prevents us from leaving down the river.  To our surprise Orininco a motor boat was here, they were our dock hostesses while we were at Alton, Illinois.  Went out to lunch with them yest. and caught up on their trip down the river.  Came back to the boat yesterday after lunch after a strong downpour and found the cushions on the starboard side were soaked along with a little spot on the comforter over the bed.   So... decided to get a hotel room and warm up and dry things out.  Marilyn was trying to get over a sore throat, runny nose and welcomed a warm, dry, comfortable place to rest up after the crazy Thanksgiving trip to Minn. and back home for a day and a half.  Then back to Minn. just in time to go to Jimmy Buffet's concert.  We can check another thing off Curt's bucket list.  Jimmy's quite an entertainer.  Then we left in the snow and freezing rain towards the south the next morning, which leads me back to the beginning of this blog.  More heavy rain tomorrow thru Tues.  Tying to get a few things done on the boat while at the dock and start resuppling before we leave.  Waiting for good weather or at least 50 degree sunny weather or we'll take 80 degree raining weather, not particular:) Hope our looper friends send us that warm Florida weather to catch up to them in the next couple of days.
